Shot Library is a free mobile photography gallery. Every photo here was taken on a real Android phone — no DSLRs, no studio lighting, no professional setups. Just people pointing their phones at the world and capturing something real. The library covers everything from GCam mods to stock camera apps. If it was shot on Android, it belongs here.
No AI-generated photos either. Just real humans with real phones making real questionable framing decisions. This whole thing was built in 8 days. No AI-generated photos either. Just real humans with real phones making real questionable framing decisions. One person, one laptop, zero budget except $1 spent on the domain shotlibrary.cam. Yes, one dollar. The most expensive part was the decision to start.
The idea was simple — there was no good place to browse real Android phone photos with full EXIF data, device info, and the ability to actually download them. So I built one.
The stack is Astro, Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare R2 for storage, and a custom indexing system that reads metadata from text files. The entire thing costs almost nothing to run thanks to Cloudflare's free tier.
None of this exists without the people who actually took these photos. Every single shot in this library came from the GCam and Android photography community — people scattered across the world, pointing their phones at streets, sunsets, cats, food, architecture, and everything in between. You turned ordinary Android phones into something extraordinary.
To every photographer who ever shared their shot, posted their results, or just kept shooting — this library is for you and because of you. You are the reason Shot Library exists.
Seriously though, the dedication in this community is unreal. You people test GCam configs the way scientists test vaccines — except with more enthusiasm and significantly more cats.A massive, enormous, standing-ovation-level thank you to BigKaka for the incredible work on the AGC GCam port. AGC is one of the most widely used GCam mods in the community — and the reason so many of the photos in this library look as good as they do. The time, effort, and passion that goes into maintaining and improving AGC is genuinely staggering.
If Shot Library has ever helped you find a good shot or a config that worked — a big chunk of that credit goes to BigKaka. Go support his work. Seriously.
Support BigKaka's work → We are not exaggerating. BigKaka carries. Hard.Special shoutout to everyone else who develops and maintains GCam mods — BSG, Wicheda, Arnova, Nikita, and every developer who has ever pushed an update at 2am because someone reported a bug. You make Android cameras punch way above their weight.
And to the photographers — the ones in Brazil shooting cobblestone streets, the ones in Europe capturing castle towers, the ones anywhere and everywhere finding beauty in the everyday — thank you. Your photos are what make this library worth visiting.
shotlibrary.cam — cost $1Shot Library is completely free — no account, no paywall, no subscription. The only revenue comes from the ads on the site and the optional watch-ad download flow. If you find this useful, the best way to support it is to disable your ad blocker for this site, watch the ad before downloading, or just browse more photos. Every page view helps.
No pressure though. The ads are already weird enough without forcing anyone to look at them.If you are a brand or developer who wants to be featured or sponsor the library, reach out at hi@shotlibrary.cam
